According to the characteristic of product discrete random demand and limited production capacity, the production planning optimization problem of multiple products in same assembly line was researched by considering the switching costs setup costs, holding costs, and backlogging costs. Through building the production schedule op- timization method, the recursive formula and dynamic programming algorithm of solving model were designed. The example analysis was used to demonstrate that the proposed method was available for mechanical equipments enter- prises to make production planning of multiple products in the same assembly line.
