Stem cell research is one of the hottest research fields nowadays. Getting the stem cell SCI papers of China and aboard from 2006 to 2010, the paper analyzes the developing trend, the distribution of countries and institutes of stem cell research. Through the bibliometric analysis fuction of the software Citespace II, the paper obtains China＇s achievements and the gaps through the comparison of the field between China and aboard. Furthermore, the paper advances the suggestion of developing China＇s stem cell research.
