With the development of world economy, it is more and more common for women to become self-employed. But there is little research on the female entrepreneurship in the academic field. It finds that gender difference has a certain extent of impact on entrepreneurship after reading the relevant literature home and abroad. This paper analyzes the influence of gender difference on the characteristics of entrepreneurship from such five aspects as the motivation of entrepreneursbip, the leading style of the entrepreneur, the selection of the industry, the size of entrepreneurship and the channel of financing. Wish to provide some theoretic help for the domestic deep research on the female entrepreneurship.
