A set of automatic flower watering sprinkler and control system with the single chip microcomputer（SCM）as the control core was designed to meet the demands of busy office workers for taking care of flowers.When introducing the mechanical structure of the automatic sprinkler,the paper mainly focused on describing the way of designing the interface circuit by using the popular serial to parallel converter chip and the control programming ideas.The sprinkler system,in the experiment,can water flowers automatically,keeping flowers in a healthy state for a long time.The design will,to some extent,fill the vacancies in the market,and provide a guideline for the research and development of the future household mechatronic smart devices.
