我国华南地区分布较广的玄武岩风化壳剖面由于代表了自基岩开始向上逐步风化成壤作用加强的过程,具有深入研究土壤磁学参数与成壤强度之间关系的潜力。对来自海南文昌南阳的新生代玄武岩风化壳剖面的磁化率测量和分析表明:该剖面低频质量磁化率(Xlf)和高频质量磁化率(Xhf)具有相同的变化趋势,总体而言,随着成壤强度的增加先缓慢降低而后迅速增加;与此同时,百分频率磁化率(Xfd%)则从玄武岩基岩到风化壳顶部呈明显的升高趋势;低频质量磁化率与高频质量磁化率的差值(Xfd)则随着成壤强度的增加先缓慢升高而后迅速升高。这些数据暗示,各种磁学参数与成壤强度之间的关系较为复杂,相对而言,百分频率磁化率(Xfd%)在一个较广的成壤强度范围内可能是一个较好的成壤强度指示器。初步研究结果表明,对该类型剖面更为深入的环境磁学和岩石磁学研究,有可能更详细地了解风化成壤过程中磁学参数变化的机理。
The basalt weathering crust profiles that are widely distributed in southern China represent upwardly increasing pedogenesis from bedrock,so that have great potential to study the relationship between pedogenic intensity and magnetic susceptibility parameters.Magnetic susceptibility data from a Cenozoic basalt weathering crust profile located in Nanyang Town,Wenchang County,Hainan Province demonstrate clearly that both low-frequency(Xlf) and high-frequency(Xhf) magnetic susceptibility have similar change trends,both of them firstly increase and then decrease with the upwardly increasing pedogenic intensity.The value of the difference between low-frequency and high-frequency magnetic susceptibility(Xfd) increases slowly at first and then quickly increases with increasing pedogenic intensity.However,the frequency-dependent magnetic susceptibility(Xfd%) shows a consistent and significant increasing trend with increasing pedogenic intensity from the fresh basalt to the top of the weathering profile,regardless the change of the stratum.The data indicate a complex relationship between magnetic susceptibility parameters and pedogenic intensity.Comparatively speaking,frequencydependent magnetic susceptibility is a better indicator of pedogenic intensity.More importantly,it is believed that further environment magnetic and rock magnetic studies of this kind of profile may provide possibility to gain insight into the change mechanism of magnetic susceptibility parameters in weathering and pedogenic process.
