基于公交汽车的停车换乘是英国城市最普遍应用的一种停车换乘服务，为深入认识其实践经验，以牛津城为例，全面介绍了停车换乘发展的背景、社会经济条件、道路交通条件、停车换乘系统的技术经济指标、投资与运营以及交通影响等。最后结合牛津城的经验，给出了基于公交汽车停车换乘的一些应用建议，供我国城市参考。
英文摘要：
To provide a full picture of the park and ride system （P＆R）, a comprehensive description is presented with focusing on Oxford city＇s experience of the bus-based P＆R, which is most generally adopted by UK cities. The concerns not only cover the policy background, the socio-economical condition, and the road traffic condition, but also involve the technical and economic indicators, the funding, and the impacts of bus- based P＆R. In the end, some suggestions were proposed to support Chinese cities＇further application of the bus-based P＆R.
