Some kinds of capacitive liquid level gauges used in the vehicular - mounted LNG cylinder were introduced in this paper. Their structure, work principle and current development status were analyzed and discussed in details. The advantages, disadvantages and application environments of several capacitive liquid level gauges were compared. Some analyzing methods and viewpoints on capacitive liquid level gauge were also presented. It will provide the reference for the LNG liquid level measuring technique research.
