采用无定形B粉为主要原料、Fe2O3为催化剂,通过添加一定比例的生长助剂CaO,在氨气气氛下合成出氮化硼纳米管(BNNTs),结果表明:合成出的纳米管为多壁氮化硼纳米管(MWBNNTs),长度在数微米范围;CaO的加入使原料在高温下部分形成液相,促进B原子在催化原子Fe原子周围的聚集,并与NH3中的氮原子结合,最终形成BNNTs。
Boron nitride(BN) nanotubes have been synthesized by used amorphous boron powders as the main raw material,Fe2O3 as the catalyst and a proportional CaO as the growth additives,in the atmosphere of NH3.The results indicate that the as-BNNTs were the multi-walled BN-NT,which length in several microns.When adding CaO into the raw materials,a certain amount of liquid were formed in elevated temperature,that promoted the aggregation of the B atom around the catalyzed atom Fe,and finally synthesized the BNNTs after combining the atom B with the atom N of NH3.
