以磷酸三钙(TCP)/羟乙基纤维素(HEC)为复合分散体系、过氧化二苯甲酰(BPO)为引发剂、水为介质进行苯乙烯(St)的悬浮聚合,考察了复合分散剂的用量与配比、引发剂种类与用量及聚合温度、搅拌速率、水油比、杂质等因素对悬浮聚合的影响,并表征了聚合物相对分子质量及其分布。结果表明:复合分散剂总量占St单体质量的0.24%左右,m(TCP)/m(HEC)=1:1,BPO占St单体质量的0.80%,水与St单体的质量比为(2~3):1,搅拌速率为350r/min,聚合温度为(90±1)℃,所制得的PS珠粒粒径大小适中,分布集中,830~2360μm的质量分数达84.93%,珠粒透明度良好.收率高达98.96%。
The suspension polymerization of styrene was carried out in water medium with tertiary calcium phosphate(TCP)/hydroxyethyl cellulose(HEC) as compound dispersion system and benzoyl peroxide(BPO) as initiator. The authors studied the influences of amount and ratio of the compound dispersant, kinds and amount of initiators, temperature of polymerization, stirring speed, mass ratio of water to oil and impurity on the suspension polymerization, and analyzed the relative molecular mass and its distribution of the resultant polystyrene(PS) resin. The results show that the resin takes the shape of particles with moderate size and 84.93% of the particles have the sizes centralized in the range of 830-2 360 p,m, the transparency of the resin particles is pretty high and the PS yield can reach 98.96% when the mass ratio of the compound dispersant to styrene, TCP to HEC, BPO to styrene and water to styrene is about 0.24%, 1 : 1, 0.80%,(2-3) : 1 respectively, the stirring speed is 350 r/min and the temperature of polymerization is (90±1)℃.
