This paper analyzed the requirement-candidate relationships,and applied fuzzy sort clustering algorithm to get the domain clusters within the team.And it emploied Myers-Briggs type indicator（MBTI） to give numeral description of candidate＇s cooperation.Then,it formulated a multi-objective team formation optimization model in SD project that considered both candidates＇ capabilities in clusters and their cooperation.Finally,it gave an example to illustrate the application of the model,and implemented multi-objective particle swarm optimization（MOPSO） algorithm with a judge-repair operator to search for Pareto solutions that represent optimal team composition alternatives.It is suggested that the proposed optimization model and the algorithm is effective and practical.
