It＇s the real demand for incumbents to respond to radical technology in this era. Taking the fundamental characteristics of radical innovation as the start point, this paper discusses capability reconfiguration and reconfiguration mechanism. So in some degree, it addresses for incumbents how to respond to radical technology. In addition, it discusses the antecedents and consequences of the choice of reconfiguration mechanism, bringing forth the differences among incumbents.
