Some attempts and experiences in microbiology classroom instruction to cultivate innovation ability among undergraduate students in colleges and universities by giving some of lab research cases, the frontier and current advances in microbiology and the discovery process of some important theories and events, as well as instructing academic discussion in classroom, academic reading outside the classroom and organizing students to visit factories etc were described in this paper.
