Digital library community is the platform for users’ social knowledge exchange and utilization. Knowledge base of digital library community supports users’ knowledge exchanges, knowledge utilization and innovation. Hence, the construction of knowledge base is significant. In the paper, the interaction obstacles between users and digital library community were analyzed. And the user community relationship and knowledge interaction relationship were revealed. Besides,knowledge model of digital library community based on the semantic model was constructed. By establishing the mapping between the knowledge model and knowledge base, we built knowledge base model, and explored building process of knowledge base.
