Behaviors of insects are significantly reliant on the olfaction. Olfaction plays an extremely important role in survival and reproduction of insects. To clarify the functional mechanism of the olfactory systems of in- sects on the basis of understanding olfactory processes and behavioral responses may provide a basis for develo- ping new insect control measures based on insect olfactory behavior interference.
