英文摘要：
The research on tropical cyclone features, especially on the features of tropical cyclone interannual and interdecadal variabilities, is one of the most active areas in current global climate research. In order to ensure all meteorologists in our country understand well and participate in the research on tropical cyclone, some major achievements on the study of the activity of tropical cyclones at seasonal, interannual and interdecadal timescales in the Western North Pacific in recent 20 years were reviewed, with focus on the latest development of this field such as the relationships between ENSO and the tropical cyclones, the numerical simulations and observational researches of greenhouse effect on the basis of much reading and studies.
