Glass curtain wall is widely used in building industry due to its simple structure , all -transparency ,sense of modern aesthetic and light weight .Glass is one of the key elements which affect the quality and safety of the curtain wall ,while security events caused by the fall of broken glass is nothing new.This paper analyzes the causes of broken glass ,calculates and checks the parameters of glass curtain wall based on particular construction cases in order to illustrate the importance of various parameters in choosing glass .
