研发独占性是企业创新和发展的关键,随着经济全球化的发展,其面临更多的挑战。作为世界主要经济力量的跨国公司,其在研发独占性的实践经验对于不断国际化的中国企业具有重要的借鉴和学习意义。在跨国创新体系的基础上,从跨国公司内部的研发地域组织的角度建立了新的分析独占性的概念性框架,并通过对120家从事研发活动的跨国公司在华子公司的非法律保护手段选择进行了实证研究。统计分析表明,跨国公司对于显性知识的保护越来越倾向于使用非法律保护手段,而内部的全球研发地域组织对于跨国公司独占机制的选择具有十分重要的影响。
Appropriability of technical innovations is crucial to the development of the company. With the development of the economic globalization, appropriability is confronted with more challenges. As the world mostly economic force, the empirical practice of multinational companies (MNCs) is very important for the Chinese enterprises which will become more internationalization to learn form it. Based on the multinational innovation system, this paper builds up the new concept framework on the appropriability from the R&D regional organization of the MNCs in the world. Based on statistical analysis of the 120 subsidiaries of MNCs in China on the use of non-legal mechanism through questionnaires, this paper tests the hypothesis and demonstrates that MNCs use more non-legal mechanism to protect their explicit knowledge, and the R&D regional organization of the MNCs is very important for the selection of the mechanism of appropriability.
