采用溶胶-凝胶法制备了M型纳米钡铁氧体(BaFe12O19),并进一步研究了不同pH值、煅烧温度和保温时间对样品微结构和磁性能的影响,用X射线衍射、扫描电子显微镜和振动样品磁强计对样品进行了表征和测量.当溶液pH在3以上时,比较容易生成BaFe12O19纯相,纯相样品的形貌基本为六角片状;样品的晶粒尺寸随煅烧温度的增大和保温时间的延长而变大;样品的磁性能与热处理温度有密切关系,1200℃时样品磁化强度最佳:Ms=75.24emu/g,Mr=35.18emu/g;在950℃时矫顽力达最大值:Hc=3.33×10^5A/m.
Barium ferrite powders were prepared using a sol-gel process. The influence of the pH value, calcined temperature and the holding time on the crystalline structure, the microstructure and the magnetic properties of barium ferrite were studied by X-ray diffraction, Scanning electronic microscope and vibrating sample magnetometer. The formation of BaFe12O19 phase was positive when pH value of sol solution was above 3. The sample with pure BaFe12O19 phase was produced with a basically hexagonal laminate structure. The grain sizes of the samples increased when the annealing temperature and the holding time was increased. The magnetic properties of the samples depended on the temperatures of heat treatment. Saturation magnetization and coercivity with optimum values of Ms = 75.24 emu/g, Mr = 35.18 emu/g, and Hc=3.33×10^5A/m were achieved at temperature 1 200 and 950℃, respectively.
