The economic transformation of resource cities is a systematic and complex project. From the perpective of field theory, the paper analysed the economic transformation system of resource cities, built gravitational-field and repulsive field in areas, discussed how the resource cities entered the areas to upgrade the cities transformation by inter-region economy and put forward the strategy for transforming.
