The rationale for cut-off approximation in studied by numerical calculation. With thin samples, or under on-axis situation, and little nonlinear phase, approximation of calculating the first three items of function is reasonable since transmittance function converges quickly; for large nonlinear phase, error by calculating the first three items only cannot be ignored, instead, the first four items of funetion have to be calculated to obtain reasonable result.
