Fate is repeatedly mentioned in the book of The Analects.Confucius＇ s viewpoints is constituted by the three pyramidal dimensions-virtue,fortune and destiny.This paper then revealed the whole political career of Confucius from his moral cultivation to the official career and to his reflections of destiny,which restored his life course from an ordinary scholar to a man who believed in preordained fate.
