英文摘要：

The vulnerability assessment of transportation road networks is currently a hot and difficult problem.Identifying the vulnerability of road networks is an important issue of transportation systems to deal with crisis situations.The paper summarized the existed road networks vulnerability assessment literatures and gave the prospects of it.The different definitions of transportation networks vulnerability are summarized and the convergences and divergences among these definitions are illustrated.Then,the paper analyzed the relationship and difference between the transportation road networks vulnerability and transportation road networks reliability.Next,the current transportation road networks vulnerability assessment methods were broadly classified into four categories,which were the scenario-specific assessment method,strategy-specific assessment method,assessment method based on simulation,and mathematical modeling methodologies.Finally,the paper put forward some issues which should receive more attentions in future transportation networks vulnerability assessment.
