ONECUT转录因子在哺乳动物细胞中包含3个成员,分别为肝细胞核因子6(HNF-6,ONECUT-1)、ONECUT-2(OC-2)和ONECUT-3(OC-3),三者在消化系统中的表达既相互重叠又具有一定的特异性。ONECUT转录因子通过调节基因表达,参与细胞周期和增殖调控、细胞分化和器官形成、细胞迁移和基质黏附、物质代谢等多个方面的生物学功能,并影响消化系统的器官发育及疾病发生。
Transcription factors of the ONECUT class possess a single cut domain and a divergent homeodomain. Three members have been found in mammals, including HNF-6 (ONECUT-1), ONECUT-2 (OC-2) and ONECUT-3 (OC-3). Both similarities and differences exist among the expression patterns of the three mammalian ONECUT genes. ONECUT proteins regulate cell behaviors and functions by modulating the expression of genes, such as cell cycle and proliferation, cell differentiation and organogenesis, cell migration and matrix adhesion, metabolism, and also influence the diseases occurrence.
