利用THz时域光谱技术测量了间甲基苯甲酸在0.2~1.8THz频率范围内的振动光谱,结合密度泛函理论计算的振动光谱,对观测到的强振动吸收峰进行了指认.比较不同的芳香化合物的振动光谱,间甲基苯甲酸分子的特征振动峰与其他芳香化合物的振动特征峰在0.2~1.8THz频率范围内明显不同.
Low-energy vibrational modes of m-Toluic acid has been measured experimentally using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy in a frequency range of 0.2 to 1.8 THz at room temperature. Comparing with a DFT calculation, the observed strong absorption peaks have been attributed to different intramolecular vibrational modes. This study provides the character vibrational spectra of m-Toluic acid molecules in THz region for distinguishing between different aromatic compounds.
