利用自制的电磁搅拌装置和淬火技术,研究了励磁电压和搅拌时间对镁合金AZ91D凝固组织的影响。结果表明:增加励磁电压和延长搅拌时间均有利于花瓣状和团块状的初生α—Mg相形成。电磁搅拌极大地改变了熔体中的传热和传质过程,影响了晶体的形核和生长,从而决定了凝固组织。
Effect of exciting voltage and agitating/stirring time on solidification microstructure of AZ91D alloy has been investigated using a self-fabricated electromagnetic agitation device and the quenching technology.The results have shown that increasing the exciting voltage and prolonging the agitating/stirring time is positive to the formation of primary α-Mg with petal-like and crumby morphologies. Electromagnetic agitation dramatically changed the processes of heat and mass transfer in the melt ,affected the nucleation and growth of crystals hence influencing the solidification microstructure of AZ91D alloy.
