According to the conception and formulation of minimal mutational deterioration, we deduce the minimization of the global mutational deterioration (GMD) of all nonstandard Mitochondrial genetic codes. It is demonstrated that each nonstandard genetic code is a minimal code under some constraints, which shows both the evolutionary stability principle and the 'frozen accident' which play a role in the evolution.
