A class of 3,3 ＇-bis （tert-butanesulfinyl） substituted biphenyl and binaphthyl-based phosphoramidite ligands were synthesized from 2,2＇-biphenol and binaphthol by a four-step reaction using tert-butyl-hiosulfinate as chiral source. The structures were confirmed by 1HNMR and 31p NMR.
