Based on a survey of the plans of modern Catholic cathedrals in Southwest China, this paper generalizes three typical plans. Relying on the research on the colleges of Catholic nativity of Paris Foreign Missions Society, it also reveals the causes for the formation of these types of plans under combined impacts of the West and China, and identifies the law of evolution of them.
