为了满足当前基层林场生产任务和业务管理的实际需求，本文针对其生产中面临着的一些问题，组件式GIS—SuperMaPObjects和林业领域模型库为基础，建立林业地理信息系统平台（SupermaPForestStar）的思想，实现森林资源的信息化管理。林业地理信息系统平台包括森林资源数据管理功能模块、造林决策支持模块、林火管理功能模块和林业专题图制作等功能模块，这些功能与林场日常管理业务高度集成，实现GIS、GPS、RS一体化的林业管理。

In order to meet the practical needs of production and managing in forestry centre, this paper discusses the plan of founding a GIS platform based on component GIS and forest domain model database. This plalform（ Supermap Forest Star） is designed to solve the problems in the procedure of prodnction, and achieve the goal of infomationization of forest resource management. This sys- tem contains four modules ： data management, afforestation decision support, forest fire management and making thematic map. These functions have the closest relative with ordinary, operation in forest centre. And this paper discusses the key technology, development platform and foreground of application of this system platform.
