Growing characteristics of P. anserina in different planting density were studied. The results indicated that obvious effects existed on growing characteristic of the above ground parts of Potentilla anserina in different planting density. In the higher planting density the stolons of P. anserina occurred prior to the lower planting density. The numbers and length of compound leaves per mother plant, the numbers and length of stolon per mother plant, as well the numbers of daughter plant sprouted from stolon, the whole situations of those were significant earlier to the lower planting density.
