Sustainable innovation is the basis of enterprise＇s survival and development. Therefore, as a key link of inno- vation development, opportunity recognition is very important in building innovative enterprise. Under the innovation- driven development background, this essay defines concept, types and characteristics of innovation-oriented enterprise＇s sustainable innovation opportunity, puts forward the great meaning of sustainable innovation opportunities in building and developing innovation-oriented enterprises, uses Extension Matter Element Method to construct the sustainable innovation opportunity recognition model of innovative enterprises, and exemplifies it with the Yunnan Baiyao Group Co., Ltd.
