The only choice for ecological environment protection is to take a road of green development. Located in the golden section of the Silk Road economic belt, Gansu Province should stick to the principle of u green development for self - prosperity and the well - being of the people＇s . Firstly, the development of poverty alleviation and ecological and environmental protection should be stressed both, developing a new model of targeted poverty alleviation. Secondly,the development of new energy will lead to the transforma-tion of traditional energy cleaning. Thirdly, it should take its regional advantages to build itself as an im-portant green and ecological agricultural production and processing base. Fourthly,it should follow a new path of urbanization. Fifthly,it should foster new pillar industries and economic growth poles. Sixthly,following the general layout of uone Region,Three Districts, Thirteen Sections , it should promote innova-tive development of cultural heritages.
