This article is about stress and strain analysis for earth- rockfill dam based on a professional finite element program named PLAXIS. The stress and movement of the dam were obtained in the phases of deposition period and function period. This analysis as a very important reference for the design and function of the dam as well as a further prove of security for the function of the dam.
