Based on a thorough literature review of cultural competence, this paper systematically analyzes the five perspectives from which cultural competence has been explored in the west, including the perspective of religion, national culture, organizational behavior, organizational function and international politics. The author then analyzes the objects of the five perspectives and the direct and indirect variables that exert influences on cultural competence.
