In order to grasp the strata behavior characteristics of de-stressed mining in deep thick coal seam,in-situ observation and comparison was conducted for strata behaviors of de-stressed mining in 1282（ 3） and 1141（ 3） working face Dingji coal mine,based on the geological and production technology conditions. The result shows that,the strata behaviors intensity reduces in de-stressed mining,leading to favorable adaptability of supports and alleviation of rib spalling.
