Taking 93 technology-motivated acquisition events of Chinese listed companies ranging from 2002 to 2005,based on technology-motivated acquisition pattern reconstruction,the main business profit margin was used as the index to judge the MA performances of enterprises.The empirical research shows that technology-motivated acquisition have a prominent effect on operating performance,and the performance of the industry consolidation technology-motivated acquisition is superior to the business-expanding technology-motivated acquisition.
