The market demand is forecasted for making better inventory plans by improving sales strategy. A model of Advance Booking Discount program with Partial prepayment ( ABDP ) is built by generalizing the program with full prepayment called ABD. A more practical sales strategy is proposed not only to forecast the market demand but also to attract customers. It is analyzed how to choose suitable discount parameters to maximize the profit in the ABDP program model, and it's proved that the ABDP program is much better than ABE) program for the company with small market share. In some cases, the expected profit could be 100% higher.
