Video conferencing is one of the most popular choices for geographically distributed people to communicate with each other. With the development of software technology, minor enterprises and individual user could use personal computer and shared links-based video conferencing service at very low cost. Hence the heterogeneity of user device and user network environment becomes the most important problem. First the system of video conferencing is briefly introduced, then the challenges and solutions of video conferencing are carefully discussed.
