Hypericum sampsonii Hance is a plant of the Hypericum genus of Guttiferae.Research showed that Hypericum sampsonii Hance contained chemical components of polyisoprenylated benzophenone derivatives,naphthodianthrones,flavonoids,etc,and had many pharmacological actions,such as anti-tumor,anti-depression,anti-virus.In recent years,domestic and foreign researchers on the role of chemical constituents and pharmacological research had made great progress.In this review,the chemical composition and pharmacological aspects of the Hypericum sampsonii Hance are discussed,to provide a better scientific basis for the development and utilization.
