倒计时交通信号对交叉口车流特性的影响

在总结现有研究成果的基础上,考虑交叉口信号控制影响驾驶员的驾驶行为,进一步研究倒计时交通信号灯对交叉口车流行驶特性的影响。通过实地调查采集数据,分别从时间和空间的角度探究有无倒计时的两类信号交叉口中地点车速的分布规律,并加以对比分析。结果表明在有倒计时信号灯交叉口,车辆通过停车线的平均车速高于无倒计时交叉口,而高速行驶的车辆所占比例却相对减少,能有效提高交叉口通行效率和安全性。究其原因,是因为在有倒计时信号控制的交叉口,绿灯后期驾驶员会低速行驶至停车线;相反,在无倒计时信号控制交叉口,绿灯后期驾驶员会因存在侥幸通过交叉口的心理,而采取较快速度通过停车线;另外,倒计时信号控制能有效减少绿灯初期平均损失时间,从而可规范驾驶行为,保证车辆驶离交叉口更倾向平稳。

英文摘要:

Based on the results of related study at home and abroad,the effects of traffic signal countdown on moving characteristics of traffic flow at intersection were further researched after considering signalized intersection could influence the driver’s behavior. From the angle of time and space,the distribution regularities of spot speed affected by using countdown display and not using countdown display at signalized intersection was compared and analyzed by acquiring data through field investigation in the paper. The research results show that comparing with the intersection without countdown display,the average speed of crossing the stop line is higher in the intersection with countdown display,but the proportion of high speed is relatively reduced,which indicate that the signal countdown is not only good to the traffic efficiency but also to the traffic safety. The reason is that at the end of green signal,the drive behavior is more conservative in the intersection with signal countdown,while drivers tend to keep high speed with fluke mind in the absence of the countdown intersection. What’s more,signal countdown can reduce startup lost time and unify the drive behavior to ensure the vehicle leave the intersection at a steady speed.
