Inner Canon of Huangdi inherits traditional Chinese thinking mode of holism differentiation in the process of the construction of medical theory. It applies logic and reasoning methods as analogy, comparison, induction, deduction and so on, which shows the methodological characteristics with coexistence of dialectical and logical thinking. Deeply analyzing the mature and rule of this characteristics not only helps to understand the scientific nature of theories in Inner Canon of Huangdi, but also has certain rational value in promoting value judgment and cultural identity of Chinese medicine theory under the background of culture communication between Chinese and the west.
