A seam remining in the goaf is a new issue faced to the major old mining areas.No.2134 coal mining face was located under the goaf of upper slice seam in Beimafang Mine.According to the fire ignition condition and features of the seam in No.2134 coal remining face,a comprehensive coal spontaneous combustion prevention and control technology with the yellow mud complex paste injected to the large area of the goaf and with the polymer colloid injected to the small area of the goaf was conducted.Thus the high temperature area in the top coal of the gateway during the driving period was effectively controlled,the coal spontaneous combustion of the goal during the coal mining period was prevented and controlled and a safety and successful mining of No.2134 coal mining face was guaranteed.
