Objective To detect the expression of Th17 cells and its autophagy-related markers in peripheral blood of patients with non - segmental vitiligo (NSV) . Methods The expression of Thl7 cells and its autophagy-related markers in peripheral blood from 40 NSV patients and 20 healthy controls were detected by flow cytometry. Results The level of Thl7 ceils of NSV patients was significantly higher. In addition, significantly increased expression of Beclinl and LC3B were also observed in NSV patients, whereas the level of BC1-2 was decreased ( all P 〈 0. 05 ). Conclusion The level of Th17 cells of NSV patients was significantly higher as well as the activity of autophagy. Greater insights into the mechanisms of interaction between Th17 cells and autopgagy are necessary. This research could provide vital new information on the role of Th17 ceils in the pathogenesis of NSV.
