A leaf node in virtual backbone network may switch to another subnet, and it will change its IP address in accordance with corresponding subnet address. This paper analyzes the issues of handoff, including address alternation, routing, communication maintenance and network security. After this, it raises solutions and gives a conclusion at the last section.
