Difficulties confronted by the current rural education assistance in China mainly include： insufficient resources of educational assistance and imbalanced allotment of resources between regions and regions, urban and rural areas; backward idea of educational assistance and the country＇ s inadequate fiscal input; nonstandard procedures of educa- tional assistance and imperfect mechanisms of operation and guarantee; ineffective link between educational assistance and employment assistance. To perfect the rural education assistance, the following effective measures should be adopted： es- tablishing a high-efficiency operational mechanism of educational assistance to realize the optimized integration of educa- tional resources; making a rational definition of rights and responsibilities of each subject providing educational assistance and increasing the procurement of educational funds; optimizing the legal system of educational assistance and perfecting the organizations of assistance evaluation and management; and promoting the seamless link between educational assistance and employment assistance.
