离子交换膜的发展可以追溯到60年前,也是我国最早开发的膜过程,目前已经从当初实验室的研究走向不同工业的应用,特别是近年来,随着国家对环境保护的不断重视,以离子交换膜为基础的过程由于能够实现离子的定向或者选择性迁移,在环境保护、清洁生产和分离等具有举足轻重的地位.本文针对国家目前的产业发展政策阐述了离子交换膜的重大国家需求及其创新研究,对今后该领域的发展进行了展望.
During the last 60 years, ion exchange membranes evolved from a laboratory tool to industrial products with significant technical and commercial impact. Today ion exchange membranes are receiving considerable attention and are successfully applied for desalination of sea and brackish water and for treating industrial effluents. Due to their superiority in selective transport of different ions, they are efficient tools for the concentration/ separation of food and pharmaceutical products containing ionic species and the manufacture of basis chemical products. The evolvement of an ion exchange membrane not only makes the process cleaner and more energy - efficient but also recovers useful effluents that are now going to wastes, and thus makes sustaining development of the society. In request to the current national policy on industries, this review focuses on the significant requirements in China and recent novel developments in the field of ion exchange membranes including preparations, applications and process integrations. The future developments are also prospected.
