英文摘要：
Process searching is one of the major problems to be addressed for the implementation of CAPP （computer aided process planning） systems by manufacturers which produce whole machines with singlepiece or small-batch production. A new similarity process searching principle is proposed on the basis of the idea of process reusing, according to which the query sentence for searching for parts which have similar processes is coordinated. A formal part query language is defined on the basis of formal language principles. An entity-relationship data organization model for production structure trees is established. A language-driven method for searching for similar processes is presented. The structural module of a similarityprocess searching system is discussed, and the characteristics of the method are explored.
