In 200 mmol/L phosphate buffer with pH6.0,the reaction of N,N’-ethylenebis [2-(o-hydroxyphenolic)glycine] with cupric ion was monitored by UV difference and fluorescence spectra.The molar absorptivity of Cu(Ⅱ)-EHPG at 265 nm is(5.462 ± 0.035)×10^4 cm^-1·mol^-1·L.The conditional binding constant is logKCu-EHPG=15.62±0.18.
