The mechanisms of blood glucose disorders induced by gatifloxacin were discussed, which include disturbing glucose homeostasis via regulating the release of endogenous substance （such as insulin, epinephrine, histamine, etc）, impacting GLUT1 gene expression and inhibiting gluconeogenesis, so as to provide a reference for research and development personnel and clinicians.
