基于无人小飞机的有效载荷和有限空间要求,设计和制作了用于其通讯系统中ISM频段的高性能圆极化微带的一种中心开槽、边缘Y形两侧缝隙加载的变异方形微带贴片结构天线,给出了该天线的仿真结果,描述了圆极化天线的测试方法。测试结果表明,天线指标基本满足系统使用要求,波束宽度为±45°,增益达到4.5dBi,尺寸缩小约36%。将这种天线应用到无人小飞机系统中,可以方便地与射频模块集成,无线收发信机输出得到了良好的波形。实验结果表明,此缝隙加载圆极化微带天线能满足该无人小飞机电子系统实现无线图像及数据实时通信的要求,这将使得该系统的小型化成为可能。
In this paper, a compact circularly polarization (CP) radiation microstrip patch antenna was designed and fabricated based on the virtual load and limited size of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) applications. The antenna is used for ISM frequency band in the communication system. The proposed variant quadrate designs are achieved by inserting four Y-shaped slits at the patch edges of a microstrip antenna and notched at the center of it. The paper presented the simulation and the measured techniques of the circularly polarization radiation antennas. From experiments conducted, the parameters of this antenna satisfy the requirement of transceivers in UAV systems. Experimental resuhs show 3dB axial ratio bandwidth is 0.6%, half power beamwidth is±45°, and the gain is 4.5dBi. The antenna size reduction can be as large as 36%, as compared with that of the conventional CP design. It is possible to achieve miniaturization of UAV.
